1. Introduction
Welcome to Find Your Coach ("FYC," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("T&Cs") govern your use of our mobile application (the "App"), and all other Products and Services, including any content made available therein. Find Your Coach Limited provides a platform for cricket players to connect with professional coaches for online and in-person coaching feedback. The legal relationship between FYC and the user for the use of the App, Services and Products is exclusively subject to these Terms and any such additional terms. If there is a conflict between these Terms and any such additional terms, the additional terms will control for that conflict. Any conflicting terms provided by you or any other user do not apply, even if we do not object to them. By using our App, you agree to abide by these T&Cs. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
2. Privacy Policy
Please refer to our privacy policy (https://findyourcoachapp.com/privacypolicy) for information on how we collect, use and disclose information from our users. You acknowledge and agree that your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy.
3. Eligibility & User Responsibility
The App is available globally. Anyone aged 11 and above may use the App. However, minors under 18 should do so under parental guidance. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they meet any legal requirements applicable in their region.
4. User Accounts & Conduct
Users must create an account using a unique email address and phone number, ensuring all their information is accurate and up to date. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure. We will not be liable for unauthorized access due to a user’s negligence.
Users must adhere to professional conduct when interacting with coaches, including but not restricted to:
• No offensive, abusive, or discriminatory behavior
• No harassment, threats, or inappropriate conduct
• No misleading or false information
Users cannot communicate with or interact with other users via the App.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination without warning.
5. Coaching Services & Coaches' Obligations
Coaches on Find Your Coach must:
- Maintain professional conduct at all times
- Provide high-quality feedback based on their expertise
- Be punctual for sessions and responses
- Avoid discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate behavior
- Not solicit users for private coaching outside the platform
- Adhere to the highest coaching ethics, ensuring fair and responsible mentoring
Find Your Coach reserves the right to remove coaches who violate these obligations.
6. Payments & Refunds
Users will be guided to pay for feedback from coaches when submitted their feedback request. Users must pay at this stage unless they have a promo code or purchased a bundled coaching session package. Bundled coaching session packages may be available at discounted rates. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. No refunds will be given once a session has been booked.
Users can cancel a coaching request within 3 hours of making the request. After that, no cancellation or refund is allowed. If a user does not show up for a booked session, they will not receive a refund.
7. Subscription Service
Find Your Coach offers a paid subscription service that provides full access to premium blog content within the App (“Blog Subscription”). Users may view a short preview paragraph of each blog free of charge. Full access to blog articles requires an active subscription.
7. 1. Subscription Plans & Pricing
At the time of purchase, the following subscription plans are available:
- Monthly subscription: £4.99 per month
- Annual subscription: £34.99 per year
Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary by location and platform and are subject to change. Any changes will apply only to future billing periods and will be communicated in advance where required by law or platform policies.
7. 2. Subscription Benefits
An active Blog Subscription provides:
- Unlimited full access to all blog content available in the App during the subscription period; and
- A 10% discount on coaching sessions booked through the App, applied automatically at checkout where applicable.
Subscription benefits are personal, non-transferable, and apply only to the subscribed user account.
7. 3. Payment Processing & Platform Billing
Subscriptions are processed and managed via Apple Pay for users who download Find Your Coach via the App Store, and via Google Pay for users who download Find Your Coach via Google Play Store. Find Your Coach does not store or process users’ full payment card details.
7. 4. Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. The renewal fee will be charged to the user’s platform account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the rate of the selected plan.
7. 5. Managing & Cancelling Subscriptions
Users must manage or cancel their subscription through their device account settings:
• Apple App Store: via Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Google Play Store: via Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions
Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Users will retain access to subscription benefits until the subscription expires.
7. 6. Refund Policy
Subscription payments are non-refundable, including for partially used periods, except where required by applicable law or where refunds are granted at the sole discretion of the relevant platform provider (Apple or Google) in accordance with their refund policies.
If a user fails to cancel before the renewal date, the subscription will renew automatically and the applicable fee will be charged. No refunds will be provided for renewal charges.
7. 7. Changes to Subscription Terms
Find Your Coach reserves the right to modify subscription pricing, features, or availability. Any changes will not affect the current subscription period and will take effect from the next renewal cycle where permitted by law and platform rules.
7. 8. Suspension or Termination
If a user’s account is suspended or terminated under these Terms & Conditions, access to subscription services may be revoked without refund.
8. Booking & Coaching Restrictions
All coaching feedback and bookings must be done through the App. Users and coaches cannot bypass the App to conduct coaching sessions privately. If users or coaches engage in off-platform coaching without booking through the App, Find Your Coach Limited reserves the right to pursue legal action for the amount of coaching conducted off the App.
9. Liability & Disclaimers
Find Your Coach connects users with professional coaches who are ECB Level 3 or above. We do not guarantee the results of coaching sessions or user improvement, nor do we take responsibility for injuries or issues arising from coaching advice. Users accept that coaching involves physical activity and do so at their own risk.
10. Mentoring Calls & Recordings
Users can book mentoring calls with coaches through the App. Coaches must have their cameras on, but users can choose to have their video off. Users may record calls if they consent before the session.
11. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts in the following scenarios (including but not restricted to):
- Users violate these Terms & Conditions or the Privacy Policy
- Users engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unethical activities
- Users attempt to engage in off-platform coaching
- Decisions regarding account termination are at Find Your Coach’s sole discretion and are final.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
12.1 Arbitration
Unless you opt out of arbitration within 30 days of the date you first agree to these Terms by following the opt-out procedure specified below, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Find Your Coach App shall be resolved by binding, individual arbitration, rather than in court. You acknowledge and agree that you are waiving your right to a trial by jury and to participate as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action or representative proceeding.
12.2 Opt-Out Procedure
To opt out of arbitration, you must send a written notice stating your intent to opt out within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms. The notice must include your full name, email address associated with your Find Your Coach account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. The notice must be sent to team@findyourcoachapp.com or via mail to Find Your Coach Limited, [34 Clarendon Road, Eccles, Manchester, United Kingdom, M30 9BF].
12.3 Exceptions to Arbitration
This arbitration agreement does not apply to:
- Claims related to intellectual property rights;
- Claims of unauthorized access, fraud, or misuse of the service;
- Any claim for injunctive relief or equitable relief brought in a court of competent jurisdiction.
12.4 Arbitration Rules & Governing Law
The arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and held in London, UK. The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve any disputes relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement. Each party shall bear their own arbitration costs unless otherwise required by law or determined by the arbitrator.
If this arbitration clause is found unenforceable, the dispute shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
13. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless Find Your Coach Limited and its officers, directors, employee and agents, from and against any claims, disputes, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and costs and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with (i) your access to or use of the Services or Content or (ii) your violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to Terms & Conditions
Find Your Coach reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Users will be notified of changes via email or an in-app notification.
