Find Your Coach Limited ("FYC," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Find Your Coach mobile application (the "App") and associated services.
1. Introduction
Find Your Coach Limited provides a platform that connects cricket players with expert coaches for feedback on their game. Users can submit videos for analysis, request mentoring, and book coaching sessions, both online and in-person.
By using our App, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information Provided by Users
When signing up or using our services, we collect full name, mobile number email address, and password. Within the app we also collect videos uploaded by users for feedback, along with descriptions and requests for coaching.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
We may collect the following information:
• Usage Data: App interaction, feature usage, and preferences to improve our services
• Location Data: If granted permission, we collect location data to display local coaches and facilitate in-person bookings.
• Device and Log Data: IP address, device ID, operating system, and browser type to enhance security and performance.
3. Purpose of Data Collection
The purpose of collecting data as outlined in this Privacy Policy includes but is not limited to account creation and user authentication, facilitating coaching feedback sessions, improving app functionality and user experience, enabling targeted in-app advertising, connecting users with local coaches, processing payments and bookings, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, share, trade or otherwise transfer user data with third parties except:
• Coaches: When a user requests feedback, the assigned coach will see the user's name, request, and uploaded videos.
• Payment Processors: We use Stripe for payment processing. Users may opt to save payment details for convenience in any future payments.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law, regulatory authorities, or law enforcement agencies.
5. Data Storage & Security
We implement a variety of security measures, including but not restricted to storing data on AWS servers which includes encryption of data, to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. We reserve the right to retain user data for as long as the account remains active. Users may request deletion of data via email to team@findyourcoachapp.com or via the Contact Us form within the Settings section of the App.
6. User Rights & Controls
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, users have the right to access their personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of their data. If the user does not consent to the collection, processing, and storage of data as outlined in this Privacy Policy, the user may not use the app. Users can exercise these rights by emailing team@findyourcoachapp.com or submitting a request via the Contact Us form in the app settings.
7. Payment & Financial Data
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. For convenience in any future transactions, users may opt to store payment details. We do not store payment credentials on our servers; they are securely handled by Stripe.
8. Subscription Service
Find Your Coach offers a paid subscription service that provides full access to premium blog content within the App (“Blog Subscription”). Users may view a short preview paragraph of each blog free of charge. Full access to blog articles requires an active subscription.
8. 1. Subscription Plans & Pricing
At the time of purchase, the following subscription plans are available:
• Monthly subscription: £4.99 per month
• Annual subscription: £34.99 per year
Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary by location and platform and are subject to change. Any changes will apply only to future billing periods and will be communicated in advance where required by law or platform policies.
8. 2. Subscription Benefits
An active Blog Subscription provides:
• Unlimited full access to all blog content available in the App during the subscription period; and
• A 10% discount on coaching sessions booked through the App, applied automatically at checkout where applicable.
Subscription benefits are personal, non-transferable, and apply only to the subscribed user account.
8. 3. Payment Processing & Platform Billing
Subscriptions are processed and managed via Apple Pay for users who download Find Your Coach via the App Store, and via Google Pay for users who download Find Your Coach via Google Play Store. Find Your Coach does not store or process users’ full payment card details.
8. 4. Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. The renewal fee will be charged to the user’s platform account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the rate of the selected plan.
8. 5. Managing & Cancelling Subscriptions
Users must manage or cancel their subscription through their device account settings:
• Apple App Store: via Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Google Play Store: via Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions
Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Users will retain access to subscription benefits until the subscription expires.
8. 6. Refund Policy
Subscription payments are non-refundable, including for partially used periods, except where required by applicable law or where refunds are granted at the sole discretion of the relevant platform provider (Apple or Google) in accordance with their refund policies.
If a user fails to cancel before the renewal date, the subscription will renew automatically and the applicable fee will be charged. No refunds will be provided for renewal charges.
8. 7. Changes to Subscription Terms
Find Your Coach reserves the right to modify subscription pricing, features, or availability. Any changes will not affect the current subscription period and will take effect from the next renewal cycle where permitted by law and platform rules.
8. 8. Suspension or Termination
If a user’s account is suspended or terminated under these Terms & Conditions, access to subscription services may be revoked without refund.
9. Mentoring Calls & Recordings
Users can book online mentoring calls with coaches via the app. During these calls, coaches will have their cameras on, with the purpose of mentoring the user more effectively. Users may choose whether to enable their video or not. Because we display purchase history in users’ profile and coaching history in coaches’ profile, for the purpose of revisiting feedback, users will be given the option to record the call.
10. Children’s Privacy
We do not collect any date of birth data. We do not knowingly collect or store data from minors. Users are responsible for ensuring parental consent if required.
11. Third party links
In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our app. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our app and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).
12. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The App may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance the user experience. Users can adjust their settings to disable cookies, but some features may not function properly.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or an in-app notification.
